Trees for Halton Hills started off the 2024 planting season (as well as the start of Earth week!) hosting a planting with the Rotary Club of Georgetown. Together over 200 native trees were planted at a site off of Eighth Line in Georgetown with more trees leading into Standish Parkette. Despite the strange weather, including hail and snow, there were a lot of upbeat and positive planters. Thank you to the Rotary club for donating a new water tank and their time to water these new trees for the next couple years!
