Georgetown Firehall – Oct 4th Planting – 2025

On Saturday, October 4th Trees for Halton Hills welcomed community volunteers and groups to help plant 150 native trees and shrubs. The planting was held at the Georgetown Fire Hall on Maple Avenue. With financial support from the Green Municipal Fund through the Greening Canada’s Community Canopies grant Trees for Halton Hills has partnered with the Town of Halton Hills to plant 1900 trees in 2 years. This was the fourth planting event through this project. Besides our great community volunteers we were visited by representatives from Landscape Ontario, Halton Hills Fire Fighters, Town staff as well as Mayor Ann Lawlor.
